In 1924 the company completed the merger with Lever Brothers and eventually became the part of conglomerate Unilever in 1930. In 1956 the Company was renamed to Unilever Australia. In 1971 the Company re-established J Kitchen & Sons as the Oleo Product manufacturing division of Unilever.
