Renison Consolidated Mines' major customers would include the retail, wholesale and international markets. Its competitors consist of other mining companies such as Jabiru Metals (JBL). Most oil and metals are sold into the global spot markets, whilst gas, coal and iron ore is typically sold under long term contract arrangements with utilities, large industrial users and steel plants.

During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 (fiscal 2009), the Company had investments in Tom’s Gully Holdings Pty Ltd (100%), Renison Coal Pty Ltd (100%), Agate Creek Holdings Pty Ltd (100%) and Tom’s Gully Mining Pty Ltd (100%). During fiscal 2009, the Company had exploration activities in Queensland and New South Wales.
