Trading Partial Shares - Investment and Trading - Investing Small amounts of Money

what online stock traders allow you to buy partial shares, with no minimum account balance?
I am looking to start investing in the stock market, but my initial investment will be small(in the $25-$50/ month max range) with a $100 opener. I have set up an account with sharebuilder but before i transfer any funds I would like to see what else is out there. Any suggestions?

Those are small amounts of money you are talking about. In my opinion, it isn't worthwhile to "invest" in anything unless you have at least $1000 or $2000 otherwise your breakeven point is much much greater, and your profit won't be really impressive.

I know you are looking to "invest" but have a look at "trading" too. With trading you can use leverage to make your money be exposed by 100:1 in some cases. Of course this introduces increased risks. have a look at FX markets, CFDs, options or warrants if you are interested. These "derivatives" allow you to buy "partial shares".
