Platinum Australia (PLA) is a platinum group metals explorer and developer. The Company holds interests in diverse advanced PGM projects in South Africa and Australia. Its principal projects include the Panton Platinum Palladium Project in Western Australia and the Smokey Hills PGM and Kalahari Platinum projects in South Africa. PLA listed on the A on 9th October, 2000.
Caltex Australia (CTX), a company that concentrates on convenience stores and also involved in refining, purchase, marketing and distribution of petroleum products was the best performer of the 2nd week in ASX100 with a gain of 6.9 percent or 64 cents closing the week at $9.86.
WorleyParsons (WOR), a company that is engaged in the business of providing engineering project and design related services along with maintenance and reliability support services for diversified industrial segments was the worst performer in the ASX100 index losing 8.9 percent or $2.05 in its stock price and was closed for the week at $20.80.
Primary Healthcare (PRY), a leading company in the Australian healthcare industry that offers medical and healthcare based services in different parts of the country was the top performing company in the ASX100 which had an increase of 37 cents or 8 percent in its stocks.
