Pegasus Metals (PUN) or “Pegasus” is a junior mineral exploration company principally focused on uranium, gold and base metals exploration with its projects located within three main regions of Western Australia. Its key projects include two gold, base metal and uranium projects in Kimberly region of Western Australia and Hooley and Hooley North uranium projects in the Gascoyne. PUN also operates a Canadian nickel exploration project. Pegasus Metals listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on March, 2007.

PUN owns two large exploration tenement packages in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia with a total area of around 2,700 km2. Its project portfolio encompasses McClintock Range, Sturt Palaeochannel and Giant Placer projects situated southwest and southeast of Halls Creek; Hooley Project situated 300km north northeast of Carnarvon in the Gascoyne Region of Western Australia; and Yandicoogina Project situated 55km southeast of Marble Bar in the east Pilbara region of Western Australia. Its Hooley Project comprises Exploration Licences E08/1556 and E08/1591 and covers an area of 85.65 kilometre square. PUN’s Yandicoogina Project comprises Exploration Licence E45/2578 and covers an area of 99.8 kilometre square.

Pegasus solely owns all these projects with the exception of McClintock Range where Pegasus is earning a 60% interest. During fiscal 2008, Pegasus continued exploration activities on all of its early stage projects in Western Australia. The Company also has an option over the Eden Nickel project which covers a southern extension to the Copper Cliff Offset Dyke nearby Sudbury in Ontario, Canada.
