Overland Resources (OVR) is basically mining and exploring company. The key asset is the advanced Andrew Base Metal Project (OVR 90%) located in the Yukon, Canada. This project is contained within one of four exploration tenements that cover a total 60sqkm. Nearby Pb-Zn prospects are Scott, Atlas and Myschka. There are also the Riwaka Ni-Cu-PGE project in New Zealand and the Peel Ni-Cu project in NSW. Drilling at the Andrew Base Metal Project intersected high Zn grades in 2Q07 and again in 3Q07. One hole intersected 14.5m at 34.4% Zn, plus by-products.

Noranda explored the Andrew in 2001 and work included 26 diamond holes. Noranda’s data were used to define a JORC resource of 5.92Mt. The important aspect was that the deposit was open in all directions. Exploration by OVR is proving highly successful. There is potential for an O/C resource with U/G mining grades perhaps increasing with depth. Other targets are being advanced to drill status. OVR has $11.4M in cash and is well positioned to continue aggressive exploration. Company was on Australian Stockmarket on 14 November, 2006.

Overland Resources has established itself as a lean and flexible organisation, able to cost-effectively explore and respond quickly to new opportunities globally. This enables an aggressive approach to quality project identification, evaluation and acquisition. The Board of Directors and the management team have extensive global resource industry experience and are applying their combined technical, commercial and corporate knowledge to target areas considered to be under-explored by modern techniques. The subsidiary of the Company is Overland Resources Yukon Limited.
