Olea Australis (OLE) is involved in the growing of olives, management of olive groves and the processing, packaging, marketing and distribution of olive oil. Dandaragan Estate has been developed as a premium extra virgin olive oil brand produced by OLE.

Olea is Australia's only single purpose, stock exchange listed producer of olive oil. The company began in the mid 1990's where the world was facing a renewed boom in the demand for high quality extra virgin olive oil. Yales Ltd joined the group as its major shareholder and provided support to OLE in attracting investment funding for the company. The Company listed on Australian stockmarket (ASX) on the 30 June, 2000.

Olea Australis has developed a first class olive plantation at Dandaragan, Western Australia. At the site a processing facility has been created that will allow OLE to produce high quality extra virgin olive oil. OLE paid specific attention to the selection of quality land in the Moore River Region, Perth and significant research into the technological aspects to maximise production quality and efficiency.

OLE's extra virgin olive oil products such as "Dandaragan Estate" is sold through high quality specialty food stores, agents and distributors in ten countries around the world. Competitors include traditional European producers of olive oil.
