Nexus Energy (NXS) is an oil and gas explorer and producer. The Company holds a portfolio of quality assets located in three key regions including; the Gippsland Basin off the south east coast of Victoria; the Browse Basin, off the northwest coast of Western Australia and the Bonaparte Basin, offshore west of Darwin. Nexus Energy listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on 13th September, 2000 and it is headquartered in Melbourne. The Company is principally focused on the development of its 100% owned Longtom gas project, with first production expected in mid 2009, and Crux liquids project, which will commence production in late 2011. Nexus Energy holds 85% interest in Crux liquids project. Nexus and its subsidiaries disposed of their entire 19.24% shares held in Anzon Australia Limited in October 2008. Nexus was included into the ASX200 Index in 2007. Nexus follows a unique strategy which focuses on holding large equity positions with operatorship. The Company’s strategy is to buy undervalued resources and then to add value by following different technical approaches and utilizing the right technical skills. Nexus Energy History

Nexus Energy made its debut on the ASX on 13 September 2000. In 2001, the Company underwent a major restructure and moved its focus entirely from IT consulting to oil and gas exploration. The Company’s head office is based in Melbourne.
