Morrison Securities Pty Limited has been a Participating Organisation of the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) since 10th July 1985. Morrison Securities Pty Limited is a Participant of the ASX Group & the Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE) and is subject to all regulatory requirements of the ASX, SFE and the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC). We are an execution broker, and provide general financial product advice by distributing research reports, but only to wholesale clients.

Morrison Online Trading has an Internet Trading Platform, powered by IRESS, which provides you with an exhaustive composition of the market and at the same time, allows you to customise it to suit your needs and preferences.

Functions include watchlist, market depth, order creation & amendments, tickers, stop loss, options monitor, security information, company news, dividend information, charts and market summary. Morrison Securities’ portfolio tools provide real time updates on your order status, as well as your holdings (Equities, Options & SFE Futures) and cash positions. There are two trading systems that you can choose from:

  • WebIRESS - This browser-based version of IRESS gives you live, dynamic & real-time quotes, which refresh automatically. It is available through a standard Internet connection.
  • HTMLIRESS - This is an html version of IRESS, providing real-time static (request based) quotes and containing all the necessary market information. This version can be used even with a basic computer and Internet connection.
