Minerals Corp (MSC) is an industrial minerals company involved in the exploration, mining, processing, distribution and marketing of minerals, primarily kaolin. The company's major focus is on the Skardon River Kaolin Project. MSC first listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) on 20 November 1996. Company activities were relatively diverse until 2003 when MSC decided to focus primarily on kaolin production. The efforts to specialise culminated in the sale of MSC's feldspar and mineral processing facilities in 2003.

The Skardon River kaolin operation is located in Queensland and produces the world's finest particle sized kaolin products. The project is located in close proximity to Asia, which is the fastest growth market for kaolin worldwide.Customers include producers of paper, paint, ceramics and rubber in Europe and Asia. On an international basis, competitors include Engelhard (USA), J.M Huber (USA), Imerys (France) and Caulim de Amazonia (Brazil).

The Company’s subsidiaries include Minerals Mining & Marine Pty Ltd, Westhire Pty Limited, Cominco Holdings Pty Ltd, Skardon River Kaolin Pty Limited and Swan River Kaolin Pty Ltd.
