Macquarie Telecom Group (MAQ) is a niche telecommunications service provider with a focus solely on the corporate and government sectors. The company's business divisions include Voice Services, Data Services, Government Business Services and Mobile Services. It has offices in every major capital city in Australia and in Singapore.

MAQ commenced operation in 1992 providing telecommunications consulting services to the corporate sector. MAQ progressively expanded its offering to include tailored products, primarily voice-based and data-based. MAQ listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) in 1999. In 2001, MAQ opened its on-line data management Intellicentre as well as an office in Singapore. In 2004, the company changed its name from Macquarie Corporate Telecommunications Holdings Limited to Macquarie Telecom Group Limited.

MAQ is a niche player offering tailored flexible telecommunication business solutions solely to its corporate and government clients. The company has invested in building an Intelligent IP Access Network to meet growing business bandwidth needs. The network supports next generation IP technologies such as VoIP and legacy services such as PSTN, or standard line types.

Corporate customers include Wattyl, Yates, Heinz, Legion Interactive and government departments and agencies. MAQ competes with Telstra, SingTel, PowerTel and Uecomm.
