KTL Technologies (KTL) is engaged in the business of industrial insulation and the development and manufacture of pre-fabricated insulation products. These activities are principally conducted in the oil and gas, mining and power industry sector.

The company was incorporated in 1984 and listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) (as Bains Harding Limited) in 1987. Due to significant losses, administrators were appointed to the company in April 2004 and the consolidated entity's operations were sold (apart from the Cryo-Lag assets). The company entered into a Deed of Company Arrangement which it was released from in March 2005. Control of the company's affairs returned to the Board and the company changed its name to KTL Technologies Limited in August, 2005.

The company's key product development is the Cyro-Lag, which can be used for cold pipe applications. The company's major customers include the building industry, as well as householders. Major competitors include other insulation manufacturers and installers, such as COS. The products are used in micro-motors, instruments, sensors, electro-magnetic acoustic devices. The Company sold the Mundong Well uranium, copper and lead project after December 31, 2009.
