Equity Trade Floor Support A-List Investment Bank

EQUITY TRADE FLOOR SUPPORT, perm A-List Investment Bank, Sydney.
PERMANENT ROLE:  DESK TOP SUPPORT FOR EQUITY IB TRADERS. Previous experience a must. CBD big player great opportunity, good people, great manager and 'A' grade offices. Bloomberg, Reuters, FIX, WIN etc.

What we need:

• Level headed, calm, cool and collected candidate with experience working with Microsoft Operating Systems (primarily Windows XP).
• Messaging experience on FIX
• Excellent trouble shooting skills 
• Reuters, Bloomberg trading technology services knowledge. Broad knowledge of financial trading tech is important.
• Scripting skills ideally in UNIX.
• Great attitude and a true team player
• Desk Top support experience working with the business up close and personal in the capital markets.

We have not seen a permanent role in the Equities 1st level Operate area for a while now so, surely as a sign that the capital  markets are on the up, we have a permanent role with one of the worlds leading Investment Banks  that is based here in the Sydney CBD.

You will be part of a specialist team working equities only and be up close and personal with the traders.
The team consists entirely of those experienced in a trade support environment where understanding and speed of response are vital.

It is imperative you share these traits and that empathy required when supporting front office business.
