Crusader Resources Limited (CAS) formerly Crusader Holdings NL is a gold and nickel exploration company. The company owns tenements that are prospective for gold and nickel in Western Australia. CAS also holds interests in several gold prospects in Brazil, through a subsidiary. CAS was listed on the ASX on 6 February 2004. Its head office is in Perth. CAS was renamed to its current name in August 2008.

The Posse iron project of CAS is located in the iron quadrilateral region of Minas Gerais state, Brazil, 30 kilometers from the regional capital and iron ore mining centre of Belo Horizonte. The Ouro Belo tin, gold and indium project covers an area of more than 400 square kilometers in the Goias tin province, located in the northeast of Goais state. The Tarantula tungsten project is located in Rio Grande do Norte state, northeast Brazil. The Lake Throssell project is 200 kilometers east of Laverton in Western Australia along the Great Central Road. The Fair Adelaide project is located in the Ora Banda region of Western Australia. Its subsidiaries include Brazil Minerals Pty Ltd, Cascar Resources Pty Ltd and Crusader do Brazil Mineracao Ltda. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009, it disposed of its interest in Parker Range joint venture. The company has established a firm foothold in Brazil, where its strategy is to conduct early low-cost exploration phases, develop good drill targets and drill the priority ones to establish the mineral potential. Brazil has highly prospective nature of mineral occurrences.

As an explorer, CAS has no customers at present. CAS competes with gold explorers, including Arafura Resources NL (ARU) and Midas Resources (MDS). Competing for exploitable nickel sulphide are Heron Resources (HRR) and Cazaly Resources (CAZ). Markets for both these commodities are global, and CAS would ultimately be subject to international competition.
