Cortona Resources Limited (CRC) is a dynamic Australian gold company who maintain a portfolio of advanced gold projects in WA and NSW. Cortona’s principal focus is to continually expand its gold resource inventory with the primary objective of becoming a successful and profitable gold producer at a time when demand for the metal is strong and the price is at historic highs. CRC has a 90% interest in three gold projects in Western Australia: North Monger, Juglah Rocks and Tambourah. The company was listed on the ASX on March 21, 2006 following a successful IPO. The Company’s Directors possess a range of technical and corporate skills including a strong background in gold exploration, and are highly motivated to achieve success.

The Company’s projects include majors creek, christmas gift, booths reward and north monger. Cortona holds 100% interest in majors creek project in New South Wales. Cortona is focused on developing the dargues reef deposit at majors creek. The majors creek project is situated in the eastern portion of the Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales. The christmas gift project is located in the Cullinga Goldfield in central New South Wales 180kilometer northwest of Canberra and 15 kilometer east of Cootamundra. The booths reward is located 170 kilometer northwest of Canberra. The project is considered prospective for gold and copper- lead-zinc mineralization. The project area covers a portion of the Coolac Goldfield encompassing an area of 248 square kilometer. The north monger project is located in 45 kilometer southeast of Kalgoorlie, which hosts gold resources.
