ActivEX (AIV) is an Australian exploration company based in Brisbane primarily engaged in the acquisition, identification and delineation of new resource projects through active exploration. The ActivEX portfolio is focused on copper and gold projects with other attractive base and precious metal properties also considered. AIX was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on 11 April, 2006. AIV focuses its search in Queensland, Australia for epithermal gold, intrusive and porphyry style copper-gold mineralisation and volcanogenic massive sulphide mineralisation styles which are each capable of hosting major gold and copper deposits.

ActivEX holds mineral exploration tenements in Queensland, Australia. At Prospect Creek, AIV has completed a rock chip and soil sampling program at Prairie Creek and Gossans West. At Lake Monduran, exploration activities have refined the anomalous Molybdenum zones at Native Dog and zinc anomalous zones at Pinnacle. At the Pentland Project areas, the Company has carried out field appraisals, an interpretation of previous geophysical data and has designing follow-up geophysical programs on these areas. AIV has been granted two exploration permits, during the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007, year and has applied for two additional exploration permits for minerals (EPMs) all targeting the focus elements of copper and gold. In addition, ActivEX has negotiated a joint venture (JV) agreement with Norton Gold Fields to explore their Barambah EPM.
