Carbine Resources Limited (CRB) is an Australia-based company engaged in the exploration for gold and other mineral resources. The Company maintains 100% ownership of the Red Dam gold project. The Red Dam Project is located in Archaean greenstone 45 kilometers northwest of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. In May 2007, the Company entered into a farm-in and joint venture agreement with Cazaly Resources Limited (Cazaly), whereby the Company could earn a 50% interest, with an option to increase to 70%, in Cazaly’s gold exploration and development portfolio in the Kunanalling, Ora Banda, Grants Patch, Carbine and Split Rocks regions. These tenements cover approximately 533 square kilometres and contained mineral resources of 612,400 ounces of gold.

The strategic objective of the Company is the advancement of shareholder’s interests through exploration and evaluation of its current projects and acquisition of additional projects on favourable terms. Initially, Carbine will focus on increasing its gold mineral resources in the Kalgoorlie region through exploration drilling. The Company also intends to seek out further acquisitions that have the potential to underpin its growth strategy. Its initial focus is on its 100% owned Red Dam Project and farm-in of up to 70% of the West Kalgoorlie tenements of Cazaly Resources, which are located within close proximity to Kalgoorlie, Australia's major gold mining centre. The Company will also be pursuing further exploration, assessing early production scenarios and actively examining new business opportunities.
