FacebookAustereo Group (AEO) is a leading entertainment based media company engaged in the provision of commercial radio broadcasting services. The communication platforms provided by the company are a combination of traditional and new media. AEO listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 5th of May, 2001. The Company operates two national radio networks which are Today and Triple M. Its radio stations are located in each of the mainland Australian capital cities. AEO has two joint venture stations in Newcastle and Canberra. The company follows a dual-station strategy, with its Today network oriented towards female listeners and the Triple M network oriented towards male listeners. Austereo has a strong presence in Australian radio market. AEO has also operations in offshore markets, comprising Malaysia, Greece and United Kingdom.
Austereo Group History
Austereo Group (AEO) was formed on 16th January, 2001. On 28th February 2001, it acquired the net assets of VRB Limited. It became floated on the Australian Stock Exchange on 5 March 2001.
