Atlantic Gold NL (ATV) is an exploration company principally focused on the exploration of precious minerals particularly gold and diamonds. Atlantic Gold listed on the ASX on 29th March, 1994. In January 1999 Atlantic Gold NL’s (previously known as Diamond Ventures NL) management changed who refocused its exploration activities from diamonds to gold. The Company’s recent gold projects are located in Tasmania and Nova Scotia, Canada. Its principal projects comprise Touquoy Gold Project located in Nova Scotia (Canada), Mt Drysdale Project in New South Wales, Kookynie Project in Western Australia and Ellendale Project in Western Australia. The Company has an option over the Cochrane Hill resource with Scorpio Mining Corporation through its 100% owned Canadian subsidiary DDV Gold Limited. This property has 53 mineral claims of about 8.3 square kilometers. Cochrane Hill is situated 80 km east of Atlantic Gold's Touquoy Gold Project and contains 5 km of highly prospective region. Apart from the development of its Touquoy Gold Project, ATV is also focused on investigating local and near-mine land positions.

Atlantic is committed to identify profitable gold reserves with expected future development by acquiring and exploring prospective acreage with workable mining tenure. The Touquoy Gold Project has extended to a potentially open-pittable resource having potential of over half a million ounces of gold. The Project has feasible mining and processing characteristics and Atlantic is likely to earn up to 75% interest from it.

Atlantic Gold NL formerly known as Diamond Ventures NL commenced its operations as a gold exploration Company when in January 1999 its management was changed. The company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in March 1994. Atlantic Gold is headquartered in Sydney.
