ARB Corporation History
ARB was created by Anthony Brown in 1976, as ARB Engineering Pty Ltd. The business was started in Brown’s garage, initially focused on the manufacturing of bull bars and roof racks, but afterward it expanded to develop other accessories too. The Company was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1987. During the 1990s, the company also set up a 4WD accessories distribution operation in addition to its core manufacturing operations. In August 2003, ARP completed the acquisition of Kingsley Enterprises, which was a Sydney-based supplier of 4WD accessories.
