Allomak (AMA) is a holding company engaged in the wholesale of automotive aftermarket care products. The Company operates in two business segments: Automotive Aftercare Diagnostics and Environmental Services and Automotive Aftercare Wholesale Division. Allomak was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 31 August 2006. Allomak's Automotive Aftercare Diagnostics and Environmental Services division is involved in the manufacturing diagnostic and testing equipment for environmental testing and liquid petroleum gas conversions. Its Automotive Aftercare Wholesale segment is focused on the manufacturing, remanufacture, sales and distribution to the wholesale automotive aftercare market. Allomak completed its acquisition of Diesel Test Pty Ltd and Diesel Test Resources Pty Ltd on January 1, 2007. The Company took over the business of Alanco Australia Pty Ltd in November 2007.
The factor that distinguishes AMA's from others is its large scale of operations in diverse business areas in the automotive aftercare industry. Autolac is among the largest distributors of automotive paint and consumables to the smash repair industry in Australia, whilst Dyno Dynamics is a market leader in the design and manufacture of dynamometers.
The Allomak group businesses have been involved in this aftermarket division for between 20 and 45 years and have established leading brands in their relevant areas of this market, built outstanding customer relationships, and constantly maintained strong growth and solid operations over this time. Allomak offers a strong growth platform for the operations of these businesses and make the most of its collective proficiency to take them to the next level.
