Coca-Cola Amatil Profits

Beverage producer, Coca Cola Amatil (ASX:CCL) have posted a record half year net profit at $212.7 million, up 12.1 percent compared the corresponding half yearly results of last year. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) was up 10 percent to $373.8 million. Earnings per share is 28.3 cents, up 10.1 percent.

Coca-Cola Amatil Dividends

Coca-Cola Amatil posted a fully franked interim dividend of 20.5 cents per share, up from 18.5 cents for the corresponding period in 2008-09.

  • EBIT up 10.0%, NPAT up 12.1% and EPS up 10.1%
  • Net debt down >$170 million despite up-weighted capex
  • EBIT interest cover increased to 5.6x and net debt reduced by more than $170 million
  • Expecting about 10% increase in commodity costs in 2010 (Including sugar, aluminium and PET Resin)
