Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group (MCG), a part of Macquarie Group that owns interests in Broadcast Australia, Arqiva and Airwave was the best performer in the ASX100 index in week 25 followed by Dexus Property Group (DXS), ConnectEast Group (CEU), Common Wealth Property Office Fund (CPA) and Sonic Healthcare (SHL). The top position holder Macquarie Communications had a 29.5 percent or 67 cents gain in ASX 100 where Dexus Property had seen a rise of 6.9 percent or 5 cents. ConnectEast, Commonwealth Property and Sonic Healthcare have taken the third, fourth and fifth position in the list with 6.6, 4.3 and 3.1 percent gains respectively. Some other successful companies of this week were CSL (CSL) with 2.80 percent or 86 cents rise, CFS Retail Property Trust (CFX) adding 4 cents or 2.4 percent and Tattersall’s Group (TTS) with 5 cents or 1.9 percent gain.
Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group (MCG) was the best performer in the ASX 200 as well with 29.5 percent or 67 cents rise. Australand Property Group (ALZ) was second in this list with a 27.2 percent or 12 cents gain. Spotless Group had an 8.2 or 17 cents increase and was the third best company in ASX 200. Some other successful companies of this list were Dexus Property Group (DXS) adding 5 cents or 6.9 percent, ConnectEast Group (CEU) with 2 cents or 6.6 percent rise, Healthscope (HSP) adding 23 cents or 5.7 percent, Babcock & Brown Japan Property trust (BJT) with 2 cents or 5.4percent increase, Atlas Iron (AGO) with a gain of 9 cents or 5.2 percent and Common Wealth Property Office Fund (CPA) adding 4 cents or 4.3 percent. So overall in both ASX 100 and ASX 200 Macquarie Communications took the top position. Dexus Property Group, ConnectEast and Commonwealth Property have also shown consistency and were among the top ten companies in both lists.
